T cell differentiation is a tightly regulated process that depending on the context of antigen encounter can result in the formation of functional cytotoxic effector and memory T cells, T cell dysfunction, or autoimmunity. Our lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these distinct differentiation processes.

How does the immune system detect cancer cells ?

What are molecular programs that determine T cell fates during infection, tumor development, and autoimmunity?

What is the molecular programs of T cells during autoimmunity?
